In the New Year, we make a lot of sweets. Coconut toffee occupies a special place in the new tradition. For the New Year season, many people buy coconut toffees from sweet shops. Did you know that making coconut toffee at home is very easy? Here is a recipe for a very tasty coconut toffee.
- 300 Grams Grated Coconut
- 400 Grams Condensed Milk (1 Can)
- 60 Millilitre Water
- 16 Grams Butter
- 1 Teaspoon Food Colouring (Orange)
- 2 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
- 100 GramsSugar
First a butter tray, a cutting knife, a spatula to flatten the coconut toffee mixture and another spatula to be used to finish the touches. Add the grated coconut into the saucepan over medium heat and fry for 5 minutes. Reduce heat slightly and add sugar, water, and skim milk. Stir continuously for 4 minutes. Now add butter and mix well. In this case, increase the heat back to medium heat. After another 2 minutes add the vanilla and mix well. The mixture is now boiling. Add food coloring and mix well for another 4 minutes. Continue stirring for another 7 minutes for proper coconut toffee consistency. Now transfer the mixture to a buttered pan. Flatten and add the final touches with a buttered spatula. This delicious coconut toffee is ready to serve now, have fun!
